Experience

Originally from Canada, my career in digital began in 2002. Through full-time, contract and freelance work I have held a wide variety of roles with a range of clients. I have taken on the roles of ideation and conceptualization; designing layouts and art directing other designers and illustrators; and developing in both Adobe Animate (formerly Flash) and HTML5. The projects I have worked on include iOS and Android applications, online games and activities, banner ads, e-learning programs, tradeshow presentations, screensavers, websites, W3C accessibility audits, and email marketing. I have worked with large and small advertising agencies, business start-ups, government organizations, and in-house teams for large corporations.

What my clients have to say

Barbara is someone who brings a lot to the table. She is an asset when brainstorming ideas – not only is she knowledgeable in programming and animation, but she can also execute her ideas.

She is a great communicator and she’s patient.

Everyone loves her sunny personality and her ability to deliver all her work on time and on a high level.

Barbara is someone that I trust completely. Basically, I hand over a layout and give her the simplest brief or topline of what I want and she just breathes life into the work. She is detailed oriented and she adds her own personality and character to all her animations. Her work is consistently outstanding and I would highly recommend her to any agency.
